COME CHEER FOR YOUR TEAM OCTOBER 17th!
“Play-by-Play,” the Centre Region’s first ever dinner-theatre series,
launched this fall at the University Club, 331 West College Avenue,
State College. Presented like old-fashioned radio theater, the
family-friendly series of six plays is an irreverent (but loving)
spoof of the relationship between sports and school.
The innovative series kicked off Sept. 17 to a sold-out crowd, as the
star-crossed lovers (she's a jock, he's a hunky but football-phobic
geek) competed in an American-Idol style challenge. Both sides have a
new game plan, so come cheer for your team October 17th. Wear your
team jersey . . . and bring your pom-poms!
NOTE: Your ticket to the show includes a gourmet indoor “tailgate”
catered by Chef Andrew Monk's Sustainable Kitchen. The menu (which
changes for each show) includes game-day favorites with a fresh and
local twist.
Tickets on sale now (20% discount for season ticket purchase!) See
one show or see them all, it will make just as much sense every time!
